Fuck me I'm famous
*bounces* I've been home, totally unexpected, but JAY!!!

this is a forgotten picture from this summer, met Ville at Ama and he didn't wanna let auntie go, I think maybe he was a bit scared of me, so had to hold her for support whle mum took our photo... *ggg*

I've not done much since we came home from Finland this summer, just a trip to Tallinn, a couple of concerts and this trip to Tampere with my crazy aunt :D
Tallinn is a pretty city, the old part at least, rest I don't know anything about, we found it a bit scary to go outside the town walls *lol*
But we will be back for sure!

Pictures from Talinn with some comments )

Then we gathered the girls and [info]ging3rkitten and went to a concert with a local band called Onkel Tuka, had a nice meal and good music, I think mum made some pictures, but she's a bit out of the loop since Japa-the-laptop had to be in the hospital for almost 5 weeks and she has work and school and... and... :) Maybe I can show you later together with her pics from Tallinn...

And then my auntie went crazy :D
Matthau and Uniklubi put up a gig together at Klubi, Tampere and there was no way she could let that opportunity pass her, to see two of her favourites at the same place, same night and especially when [info]jayce47 said she could come too.
Pictures with comments from Tampere )

And just now I went with mum and auntie to Oslo to see Sabaton again *bounces* They're so good! I think that must've been the best gig I've ever been to, when I put my feelings aside (because it's always special to see Uniklubi, Matthau and Negative, sort of, still). the crowd was on fire from before the band entered the stage and that was *not* because of the warm up act, who sucked big time.
The guys in sabaton was quite stunned by the enthusiastic audience and had the time of their life, played for almost 1,5 hours :D

Pictures and videos from Matthau Mikojan's gig @ Klubi can be found here: http://www.myspace.com/matthaufan
Pictures from the Uniklubi gig can be found here: http://s140.photobucket.com/albums/r7/jayce_bucket/Tampere%20Oct%202009/Uniklubi%20at%20Klubi/?start=all
And videos from Uniklubis gig can be found here: http://community.livejournal.com/uniklubi_daily/26506.html

That's all for now, I'm soon heading back to Tampere again for Lost in Music, has a date with Vince and Simo *rofl*

Fuck me I'm famous
Hi again :)
Mum's done with some of her pictures from all the gigs, just thought I'd let you know.
Videos and photos of Matthau Mikojan can be watched at the Norwegian Street Teams Myspace - http://www.myspace.com/matthaufan other videos can be watched at auntie's Youtube account - http://www.youtube.com/christusine

Photos from the Uniklubi gig in Lohja can be seen here - http://s148.photobucket.com/albums/s22/pink_ladies_photos/Finland%202009/Lohja/?start=all

Regarding Janne's new tattoo on his left lower arm we think we found out what it means...

We think he's made it in memory of his older brother Tommi who died, this is the birth and death dates - as far as we know...

That's all for know, we're heading home tomorrow, so stay tuned for more in the days to come *waves*

Hei, is me again... :)

Fuck me I'm famous
I've been around some more :)

Friday we went to Dog's Home to see Matthau do an acoustic show, which was GREAT!!! He did My Way - we've been wanting to hear that song live, to our knowledge he's not done it live and for him to do *that* song in *that* place at *that* day... Auntie called him her hero later when she spoke with him.
While waiting for Matthau auntie spotted a tall, black haired, rather good looking finn walking past the windows of DH and she grabbed me, Jacquie and Vegard and went after him - turned out to be Jay Slammer... JAY - my first picture with one of the NGT guys *grins*
After Matthau we went up to Telakka to see Simo with the Bitterlicks and managed to catch some of the Voodoonights and I just have to say that Arde is much better as a singer and a frontman then a guitarplayer, Ero played drums, wasted as ever, but he looked good... As was Raffe, the Bitterlicks' guitarplayer, he played a couple of songs on the Pink Lady's husband...
And Kristian was in the audience, with his girlfriend, which is the nicest, sweetest, caring girl you'd ever know and I refuse to call her a barbie, though she looks like one she's not - and they're so cute and good together, Kristian looks really good these days *happysigh*
Later we went to Klubi to say hei to Petteri, who was working late that night, poor lad...

Saturday we went to Ruma to see Matthau and his guys again, they did a half acoustic show and that is really not Matthau's strongest virtue and besides that he'd forgotten to bring drinks, he'd forgotten the set list, he forgot lyrics and in the end he lost his pick and had to play with only his fingers... It was the most fun gig we've seen with him ever, the most flunky one (to use Matthau's own words), but the funniest one... *giggles*
Then we hurried up to Ama to see Vince and Simo do a Guns & Roses cover gig but the que was so long that we didn't bother and got some food instead and then decided to have a party in the street outside the hotel... :D

Sunday, as always, we spend at Ama - Jamsession, need I say more...?
And to cut it short; everyone was there, except Matthau and the Uniklubi's, well Pasi was there - and he sang... :D Watch out for auntie's videos...

Again I'm not posting many pictures, just the new ones of me and my fellow celebrities under here )

Hei from Finland

  • Jul. 10th, 2009 at 11:23 AM
I love Tampere
Hei my lovely friends :)

I've now been home in Finland for a week and have met almost all of my old friends, both famous and not so famous ones.
When we arrived last Friday we went straight to Matthau's concert at Liberté in Helsinki, talked a lot with him there and handed over our bag of buttons that we've made and he was really pleased with them :) and it was a great gig! Blanko was good too. Saturday we thought about driving off to see Bloodpit, but when we got to Tampere after driving via Lohja to get Uniklubi tickets we were too tired, so no Bloodpit. Sunday we went to Aitoo were we again saw Matthau and had a chat with him, he presented us to Minna, his girlfriend and pointed out his mum to us, she looked like a really nice woman and Minna is a darling :)
Monday and Tuesday we just wandered around and met up with friends and Tuesday night we were at Amadeus ad I got to meet some new friends as well, Durden (Petteri) singer of Nitrokiss and one of their guitar players, I'm not sure but I think it was More... Or maybe Stromberg *is a bad fanbear*
Wednesday was Uniklubi day and we got Vegardbrother in - JAY! So he got to see them as well and he managed to grab Teemu (which isn't that hard, but :D) and got him to sign his shoe - one ecstatic kid there *pets*
And yesterday we went to Amadeus again for Led Zeppelin tribute - mum said it was very good! And then we went down to Inferno and saw Nitrokiss do an acoustic show and auntie was in heaven, I got the feeling that she kind of likes Durden, said his voice gave her the shivers... *pets her too*

I have lots of pictures and videos from all of this, but my online time is limited so will only show you my new friends now, more will come when I'm back home.

Cat licking Jussi
Hei friends!

Finally something has happen again, I was supposed to go to Germany in May, but Matthau had to cancel, sadly, so we didn't go....
Buuuuuuuuut now I've been to Swedenrock - yay!! And I was so happy and bouncy because I was to see my old pal Cat again and of course the guys in Axident Avenue.
We started early, left home just before six in the morning because Deathstars was to be on stage at quarter past four in the afternoon Wednesday.
We arrived safely at our cabin at one o'clock, perfect timing for the bus to the festival quarter to two, needed time to exchange tickets and stuff... Though I think my ladies was a little stressed and maybe excited to see Cat as well, 'cos don't you think they (read auntie) damn well forgot about me?! *HMPF* There I was sitting on the table in the cabin screaming my lungs out when they left, but to no avail, apparently humans can't hear teddy screams, at least not grown ups... :(((
When they realized I wasn't with them it was too late to go back for me, auntie said she would take a cab back and forth, but I didn't see her.. Ahh, there was no cabs there *snorts* anymore 'good' excuses?
Well, well, at least they had the decency not to go to the signing without me, so they didn't get to see him up close and personal either.

Other things that happen was that I got filmed by SvT1 (Swedens BBC1) - why?? *rolls eyes* I'm famous, right! :D
And then auntie forgot me on the grass when me ladies had to go to the private corner, I was quite happy, sitting there listening to some great music when she came running back and grabbed me, I got startled and bit her by mistake, buuuuut she had it coming, forgetting me - again! *eyes my auntie*
Friday I met my friends in Axident Avenue before they went on stage and finally manage to have my photo with Ricky Holmes (guitarist) taken, Lucky DeVille (drummer) demanded a new picture of him and me, yeah, yeah, I know, I'm awesome, people can't get enough of me *grins* We were supposed to have beer with the guys later and get them to sign our AA-tees, but forgot to make arrangements and didn't see them again, left them a note though on their car, a -70 Chevrolet Impala Cab - yay, the boys has good taste! At least the drummer *grins*

Else I just like to say that the festival was awesome - as usual, but very cold, even for a Finnish bear and a bit more wet than we liked, especially Friday - but we'll be back next year!

Here there will be pictures and videos... )

Halden fyller Rockefeller

  • Apr. 26th, 2009 at 1:30 PM
Fuck me I'm famous
Finally things starts to happen again!
Yeah ok, so I *have* been to some small local gigs at Feelgood here in Halden, though the last one - a tribute band for Johnny Cash - I refused to come, there I draw the line, one or two songs is ok, but a whole night? No way! So I stayed home and admired my new t-shirt :D
But I didn't stay home when mum went to Oslo to meet up with auntie and Kikka Friday April 24th. A big happening, Halden was moved to Rockefeller (third biggest concert hall in Oslo), yes, I live in a small city, no, we didn't do it literally - just lot of the stores had booths and almost everyone that could crawl and either play an instrument or sing was there and there's *a lot* of them in Halden, I promise you - live music from two stages for 12 hours straight O.O And the bands hardly got to play, 'cos so many had to be fitted in...
And of course old, American vintage cars and Harley Davidson motorbikes... :)

Mum and Kikka found it really weird being at Rockefeller, where we usually *maybe* know one other person, and meet people they went to school with and not seen since then, everywhere they look there was a familiar face. And I got to meet the last girl in their 'club'. I don't know if you remember, but I have attended some of mum's girls nights (that's what they call it) with auntie, Kikka and Gerd. In the beginning they were 6 girls, but one got a new husband and kids and 'disappeared' and [info]kiklei found a man moved up north.
The lost one... )
and her hubby )
They both worked there as volunteers and had special t-shirts, most of them said 'Halden crew' on the back, but som was really cool, like Britt's
t-shirt )
It says 'I'm your mum for the night'... *giggles* And those two girls who arranged it all is not born in Halden, so they had shirts saying 'Skap Haldenser' (skap means closet), though after this they're no longer in the closet... *lol*

It was a long evening and night, we couldn't leave until we've heard Belfast Muslims which is mum and auntie's favourite local band (besides Axident Avenue) and they were the last ones to play of course, so I didn't get to bed until almost 5 in the mornig - JAY!!!

Fuck me I'm famous
Backyard Babies in Oslo February 7th and I was there - front row even :D On the worst snow day ever!!!
But the gig was awesome, I got showered in Dregen sweat and aunty helped me get my paws on 3 guitarpics and Dregens towel *is a happy bear*
And I met Silje again - yay! She recognized me from far off (could be mum and aunties glowing Matti - hoodies had something to do with that) and her brother, Valentine from Axident Avenue was there too, so I got hugged by him too :D

Here be pics and videos )

Marillion in Oslo 24th Jan

  • Feb. 8th, 2009 at 4:16 PM
Fuck me I'm famous
As a early birthday present to [info]kiklei Mum and Aunt came up with the idea to use the money the girls had won on lottery to book hotel and tickets fora Marillion concert, since this has been one of Kiklei's favorites, for the 5 of them one weekend in Oslo. Then it turned out that Kiklei had gotten ill and couldn't come... :(
The girls tried to have fun anyway, but it was of course an obvious down... And that the snow was pouring down all weekend didn't make things exactly better... :/

Saturday it was concert time and we went to the forplay at John Dee first, had some drinks and a helluva good warm up act called Misplaced Neighbourhood, don't know if they're Scottish, but if not they're pretty close to the border - some of my ladies were swooning over the dialect, in addition to chatting up random Scots in the audience *giggles at Kikka*
They were a tribute band and played all the good old Marillion songs - JAY!! After that we went up and into Rockefeller and the big stage where the 'real' Marillion would play, but I'm sad to say we all thought it was crap, so we didn't stay long, went back down to John Dee instead, decided to stay there and wait for the after party when MN would play again, but before that someone needed to go home and we all were pretty bored, so no loss.

Here's some pictures and a video )

Hope you all enjoyed and I'll see you soon *hugs*

Gothenburg January 2009

  • Feb. 1st, 2009 at 5:16 PM
Fuck me I'm famous
Hey folks!
How's the start of the new year been? Good I hope - I've been busy :) And still is...
First of all the not-Negative gig in Gothenburg...

Let me explain: *squeeee* Negative puts up gig at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg, that's just three small hours by car from where I live, so we decided to go, ordered tickets, which they doesn't send to other countries, so had to go there to pick them up, but that we did when we were on our annual Christmas trip, found cheap hotel and *squeee* Jacquie, my fav. head banger partner decided to come too, so far so good.
Then - Negative cancelled the show - boo-urns! To quote my Aussie friend Lessa. We didn't believe the official statement for one second - our opinion is that someone *eyes Tommi* didn't do their homework properly. Negative is not known in Sweden, they're main audience group is girls underage, Sticky Fingers has a age limit and isn't willing to close their booze sale, which is what they make their money on, this equals a low advanced sale of tickets that again led them to cancel the show + Sticky Fingers is big, so 70 people there would seem like 10... >.<

Well, mum and auntie decided to go anyway, 'cos as I said just three hour by car and everything was already paid for and we wouldn't get the money back, except for the tickets, which we had to be *there* to get refunded... *mumbles bloody swedes*

Buuuuuuut we had fun - went to a gay bar Friday and mum got hit on *grins* and apparently I'm living with a lesbian couple now *giggles* We also met some really cute guys that we talked with for the better of the night. They recommended we checked out Rockbaren and explained to us where we could find it, which we did, but it was just before closing time and a long cue outside so we decided to go next day instead.
Saturday we went to get the money back for our tickets and wonders over all wonders we got cash O.O *takes back what he earlier said about bloody swedes* Then we did some promoting for Matti, put up flyer's and stickers :) and visited our favourite Goth shop, didn't buy anything this time, though. After a while we were like frozen Popsicles and we decided to go back to the hotel to warm up and maybe have a nap. When we got off the tram at Kungsportsplatsen the place was crawling with police and helicopters in the air above... Found out it was announced a demonstration regarding Gaza
The city was peaceful enough when we came back there some hours later, so I guess it went well.
We went to Rockbaren and had dinner and some drinks, music was great and we liked the place very much, but it was freezing cold there, so just past 11 pm we abandoned the place.
Sunday we went by Ikea and did some shopping, both real one and virtual :)

Sabaton

  • Jan. 3rd, 2009 at 3:55 PM
Fuck me I'm famous
We saw Sabaton for the first time at Swedenrock and liked them, so when we saw they were to play in Oslo we had to go :)
There was two support acts first, Sabaton had brought with them a girl-band, Fourever, from Sweden and just as you know; we have absolutely *nothing* against girls playing, but this sucked big time - girls don't have enough power in their voices to pull off such music and then having 'Posh-Spice' on bass *rolls eyes* and it doesn't help that the drummer is a beauty queen when she doesn't know back from front on her drumsticks, really lucky they had a drum-machine. Singer/guitarist was good, but... *sigh*

Then there was the Norwegian band Thunderbolt which was a nice surprise, never heard of them (I know, we suck big time when it comes to my new country), but the boys rocked!

And then Sabaton and there's just one word that'll describe them - WOW!!!
They lifted the roof from the very first second and all the way through to the third extra, extra song - Norwegian crowd being so good they didn't wanna stop, almost had to cut the power in the end to get them off stage... Wooooot!
And they had Janne (Selo) on bass and Teemu on drums *giggles* *is easily amused*

I'm sorry for the crap pictures, but auntie is really useless, forgot her camera - again. She always forgets that mum has this big ass camera now that we're not allowed to bring everywhere, so we only had her phone >.<

Check them out folks, even though they're Swedish *giggles*

Releaseparty at Elm Street

  • Dec. 29th, 2008 at 12:36 PM
Fuck me I'm famous
Hollywood Vampires had release party at Elm Street pub in Oslo nov. 29th and Axident Avenue was warm up act, which was why we were there. Although I'm now the owner of Hollywood Vampires' EP, it was given out for 'free' to everyone who paid the covercharge. It's a Norwegian band, reminds a little of Private Line, not bad at all, but we still thinks Axident Avenue is best.
The boys recognized us when we came in and we had a chat, found out that we actually 'know' the drummer Lucky De Ville (his real name is Ole) because last year he owned a similar -68 Pontiac as auntie has, which we has been cruising in Halden with and of course met him and talked, finding it amusing that the cars was almost exactely alike, his just a bit cooler  ;)
And I got my picture taken with him and with Valentine, the bass player. Didn't managed to get Ricky Holmes, the guitarist, to stand still long enough to ask him, which was very strange Silje said, 'cos he's a real camera hog usually, well good reason to go see them again *grins* Silje is Valentine's little sister, we met her too at Elm Street and had much fun together - she's really fangirling her brother - cute!
The guys, Valentine and Violet, was ill, Violet was drinking water with lots of ice in all night and he didn't managed to sing more than 5-6 songs then he had to say sorry and call it a night *pets*

Glam Nite 2008

  • Dec. 11th, 2008 at 9:00 PM
Fuck me I'm famous
Weekend after Sonata it was Glam Nite here in town where I live. It was my Deutsch friend Elin who told me about it... *lol*
Cause she likes Danger and they were the headliners, so of course we had to go when some one make things happens at home, sadly not many more than us thought that way :/ Mum, auntie and two more grown ups, except the door men, rest was kids *giggles* 18-22 or smt - all in all around 50 people maybe a few more...
First band of the night was the Norwegian Axident Avenue, we didn't know *anything* about them, but they where really great! Rocked the house, got *all* audience to sing and clap and dance. I'm *so* fangirling them now :D The singer looked and acted like Matthau off stage, but when he was on and sang, he was just like UniklubiJussi, mum and auntie were just staring and went ohhhh, look... awwww, did you see that, it's exactly like... and squeeeee... And then they began to talk about Matti and Jussi having a kid and that was him... *eyes them* And he calls himself Violet, which according to mum and auntie was an obvious, him being the son and all *eyes them again* I got my picture taken with him of course :)
Next band was the Swedish Lead Fuel, was not so good, they looked grumpy, probably used to play for a bigger crowd, but that shouldn't stop them from giving one hell of a show *looks to AA* but apparently it did, which of course made those of the audience which was entusiastic to lose it rather quickly :/ Booooo...
Last band was Danger and they were good! Didn't mind the few people and did a good show and the audience came back, not as good as AA though, but they were kind of on home court as we found out later, they're from the town where auntie lives :) Anyway Danger rocked!

Sonata Arctica

  • Dec. 7th, 2008 at 1:13 PM
Fuck me I'm famous
Just as last year Sonata came to Oslo 1. nov, so we decided to celebrate mums birthday with a concert again :)
And Since it was Saturday mum and Auntie decided to take the train, Thomas joined in too, he's a friend of Vegard that lives with us, so he's kind of like my brother and he's just turned 18, so he's allowed in, Vegard is SO looking forward to being 18 too *pets lil bro*
The backside to using the train is that the last one home leaves at midnight and Sonata didn't get on stage until nearly 11.30 pm, so we didn't get to see much of their show :( and we missed the train, luckily Auntie's train leaves nearly 10 min later so we got on that instead and then Auntie drove us home the next day... But my ladies swears that that was the first and last time they're using the train when going to concert!

I'm soon back with Glam Nite in Halden, until then have a nice pre-Christimas *waves*

Schraubelocker Tour 2008

  • Nov. 14th, 2008 at 10:12 PM
Fuck me I'm famous
We arrived in Berlin on Thursday morning and met up with [info]jayce47, [info]vikkilind and [info]cyan_mytta, all excited and squeeing because we *finally* were to see Matti and his band again. And of course Glampire Tom, the eminent dj at Wild at Heart... *waves to Tom*

We just hung out Thursday and when Friday arrived we met up with [info]newvilya and went to the X-tra-x store and the signing session, of course. We thought maybe the guys looked a little tired when they finally arrived, but they were all in great mood and signed and posed for pics with and without fangirls.

Mum had made a 'poster' that we had them sign, and also a Finnish flag for Vegard.
Thanks, guys! :) )

Some pics from the signing: )

And then, after some food and such (drinks, styling, makeup, dressing up...) we made our way to the Wild at Heart club. We know our way there, since we went there for the Private Line gig just some few weeks ago. It's a very cosy but oh! so small and *HOT* place, but they have an effective bar, so... First out for the evening was a local German group called Tunes of Dawn )

Then it was The Jade's turn to enter stage, the Finnish support act Matti had brought and we were very pleased with them :)
The Jade )

Best version of It's a Sin *ever*, boys!!!!
As we had permission to take photos and video the next day, we decided to mostly enjoy the show this night, so not many pics. Except for when Simo decided to 'pull a Uniklubi-Teemu' and do Wicked Games at the end, heeeeh! And Matti did the drums like a real pro, btw ;)
More pic's )
Really, really great show, guys, we totally enjoyed every moment of it. The energy and 'fire' on stage was incredible and you could *see* that the guys themselves had much fun.
Glampire Tom hosted the after party, great mix of 80's rock and Finnish music, causing us to (once again) dance, sing and have fun the entire night through. You're the best, Tom! We were back at our apartment at 5.30am to have one wee hour of sleep before getting up to take the train to Leipzig. Oh, my, what we do for you, guys!
In Leipzig we contacted Corinna, who was so kind to make an interview happen later that day, and learned that the guys were running a bit (read: terribly) late for some reason *eyes Simo*, lol. Anyway, as tired as we were we decided to skip the signing and get some (sorely needed) beauty sleep in our hotel room instead, to be fit for fight later.
Corinna made sure we got our bags through the 'security' all right and was told that the interview most likely was going to take place *after* the show... ehhh, but not! But that you can read about in the interview itself.

Our pictures from the gig can be found in Matthau Mikojan Norwegian Street Team's Myspace album

The videos didn't turn out good :( The new camera didn't like the loud sound and it was too dark on stage...

Private Line, Berlin 2008

  • Nov. 5th, 2008 at 8:47 PM
Me and Pl pepsi
Had to get up early, plane left at 9.45 am and we had a bit to travel and auntie thought we would be there in good time, but she forgot it was Monday, raining and that we would end up in the middle of the morning rush which was heavier than usual because of the before mention reasons... But we made it, good thing we only had hand luggage :)

Met up with [info]jayce47, [info]xspitefulangelx and then [info]newvilya *huggles 'my' girls* [info]vikkilind was supposed to be there too, but she was ill with throat infection, fever and shit *pets* We managed quite well anyway, Karen had a pretty useful book and there's maps and signs every where *bless thorough Germans*

We made it to the store where there was supposed to be a signing, but after waiting for ages we were told that there wouldn't be any signing >.< The boys were too tired, hung over, sick, what ever... *pets* (they *were* sick with the flu all of them)

Then we did some shopping and food eating, before making our way down to Wild at Heart Club, sitting outside in the lovely autumn weather, almost like summer compared to back home. The guys showed up and Sammy recognized me and auntie O.O and greeted us, Spit remembered auntie's tee *giggles* But Eliaz didn't remember shit *pets teh cutie* Cat had won a meet and greet with the boys and I was allowed to with her and finally! I got to meet the Japa-who, who almost wouldn't let me go after we had got our picture taken, he asked Cat if he could keep me, good thing she wasn't at all starstrucked by him and told him no. :) He still has an oral fixation towards us fluffies, though, Commodore - he bit my head... *giggles* I have Japa spittle in my hair

Teh Japa-Who )

Then we were let inside and auntie went straight to the bar, not only to buy drinks, but to talk to the dj :) Glampire-Tom, he's a friend of Matti and because of the Norwegian Street Team he and auntie has talked on the internet and he knew we would be here, and we had brought gifts for him, some flyers and some badges they had made of Matti. He just looked at it and then at auntie again "Are you the Norwegian girls?" Uhh, easily recognized are we... *giggles* And then we talked a bit, about Matti and the tour of course...
And he noticed mum's necklace and showed us his - exactly the same... So auntie showed him her ring and he had exactly the same... *giggles and pets the fanboy* He was a darling, though and we liked him very much :) Aaaand he put on the Live @ Nosturi dvd for us, so we could watch something nice [read 'porn'] while waiting for the gig to start.

Tom and me )

The gig was very good and the Japa-who even played some solo's, guess he had too, to take some pressure off from the baby they had with them instead of Illu, who was on dad-leave. The baby was very good, though *nodsnods*

And after the gig the guys mingled with us the whole night and I got teh Japa-who to sign my Japa-who shirt and he admired auntie's shirt as well and wanted to sign it, hands on her 'chest' scribling away, but she didn't want him too *pets teh signing addict*
Then we spoke a lot with Eliaz, he's so nice :) And got a sweatty hug from Sammy, he was pleased that we'd enjoyed the gig, now that we finally did get to see them on stage... And I should of course have asked Eliaz to have a 'decent' picture with him, but... Besides, the one I have is very cute, even though you can hardly see it's me and him :)
If anyone needs a reminder... )

Mum's gig pic's here )

A Swedish band - Sister - played first and not bad, the guys were really nice, I forgot to take pictures with them, 'cos it was so fun talking Swedish, I had too, 'cos they don't understand Finnish and had difficulties with Norwegian too, but mum has a couple of stage pictures
Sister )

We left the club around 6 in the morning and then we spent some hours on the main train station, slept a bit and then refreshed and changed clothes, we hadn't bother getting a hotel room, it was so few hours anyway, but we kind of regretted that and we're not doing it again. Then we decided to go for a walk and ended up down by the river, found some benches in the sun and slept some more, almost getting a sunburn. They have lots of sightseeing cruise boats on the river and we wanted to go for a ride, nice hour in the sunshine on the river, not understanding half of what the guide told us, 'cos it was only in German, but Cat translated what we didn't get, so it wasn't a trip in total vain... *lol*
Hmmm... I can't seem to find any pictures of that, guess mum has forgotten to upload her touristy pic's in all the fangirling she's done this autumn *pets her*

Next up 'Schraubelocker Tour' :)
Wow, I'm almost up to date...

Teemu best mates
Last post about summer now, I promise :)
Before I start on Saturday I'd like to take you back to Thursday and show you the clever kids that is Sturm und Drang )

Saturday - first up was Negative and we were curious to see how they would do on homecourt and on a 'big' stage...

Negative )

Must say they didn't impress us, Jonne has become more like a puppet on a string, moving just like he's been told, it was much, much better at Swedenrock!

Then we went to see Sami play with Lovex, looked like he had fun and after the gig when Jacquie called for him he turned and greeted us, after all we had told him the day before that we would stalk him today... *lol*

Lovex )

After Lovex were done we all went and grabbed three cabs and went to Vastavirta Club and the first thing we see upon arriving is the tower Matti told us about Thursday night, that was three ladies in total gigglefit, 'cos it *had* a house on top *pets Matti*

Matti's tower )

Three band was on the list for the night Nitrokiss, Jann Wilde and Black Jesus

First Nitrokiss, and auntie thought there was something strangely familiar with the singer, Durden, but couldn't figure it out, not until she got home and talked with [info]la_gingerella; Durden works in the bar at Klubi and he was the one she thought looked hot when we were there Tuesday, and he had a great looking tattoo...

Nitrokiss )

Then it was Jann Wilde and he rocked the house, had to go back on stage and do some more songs, 'cos people was clapping and cheering like crazy and now mum got some photos :)

Jann Wilde )

And then it was the boy disaster and Black Jesus )
But Kris was so drunk - again >.< and the 'music' they play is terrible, it was just sad and hurtful, so we went to sit outside instead...
And eventually we went back to the hotel, sneaked a maxitaxi someone else had ordered *grins*
Sunday we just sloused around, didn't do anything special until the early evening when we went to Amadeus, we was there early to get seats, it was jam session Sunday :)
And what a night it turned out to be - wow!!! Jussi and Teemu (UK) were there, as was Simo and Eero and Matti's Teemu and lots others, don't know and don't remember everyone :)
But we got Teh Leaning Tower of Teemu... Teh pile of Uniklubi... Jussi teh Vampire... *giggles* Awesome night! Not all of the pictures are suitable for publishing, but here's some and a video of Teemu singing Wicked Game, now *that's* pure porn! Even a little bear gets hot around the ears at seeing that... *blushes*

Jamsession at Ama )

Meeting more rockstars and others... )

Also if you want to see aunti's other videos from Tammerfest, they can de found here, Matti, Uniklubi, Lovex, Sturm und Drang, Essentia, Jann Wilde and Nitrokiss

That's it peep's Tammerfest is over! :D Next up is... *ponders* Private Line??? hmmm, anyway - see you soon, lovelies :D

Finland 2008, part 4 Summerfest

Vivian bite me
Uhm... Friday is it?
I'm a bit lost, my girls has dragged me off to Germany - again... This time to see and meet The Matthau or Matti, as I call him ;) Had a good time, he remembered me and so did Simo...
and Willie Rosen, the singer of The Jade said "I know you, you hang around bars and pubs and drink a lot of beer..." O.O wtf - I've never seen the guy before in my life, not that I remember anyway *lol* Will tell you more later, now it's Friday and Summerfest according to my Tampere watch, that is waaaaaaay behind normal time...

Meeting rock stars at Summerfest )

Then the bands began to play :)

Summerfest )

And on the way home we spotted a hedgehog that mum molested, poor thing I'm sure it almost got a heart attack, being chased by a big lady with a flashing light (blitz)

Hedgehog )

Have you got enough pictures now? Good, 'cos I'm not putting anymore in here now, last couple of days in the next post - see you soon, hopefully before next weekend when my ladies drags me off again, but this time 'only' to Oslo, gonna see Sonata Arctica and celebrate mum's birthday, just like last year actually... *lol*

Finland 2008 Tampere, part 3

Jussi kisses
And we've reached Wednesday I believe :)
We were sitting in our room, Jacquie, Becky, Vikki and Tina was there too, so I had company from Janne-bear, Teemu-bear and *grins* Samiiiiiiii-bear... We were talking, discussing what to do when Jacquie got a SMS, Honza had spotted Matti... Ohhhh - run... *dies*
Well, we did go out to look if we could meet him, all acting like it was a chance encounter... *giggles*

And we did meet him, after auntie spotted him, but just stood looking at his nice long legs instead of grabbing him, so Jacquie had to run, but she didn't manage to catch him, so she yelled at him to stop and he did!? *pets the well bred boy*

Matti )

Thursday we went to the piercing studio Kris uses, 'cos some of the girls wanted new piercings, including mum.
Oh and I finally met the Aussies and got my very own Koala

Piercings and Aussies )

Later in the evening there was time for our first Tammerfest concert, Sturm und Drang and then Uniklubi, before walking up to Dogs Home to see the new Bloodpit.

Pictures )

Aunties videos of Uniklubi )

Then we had to change into some special Bloodpit t-shirts, which was the ticket to get into the gig at Dogs home. We were very curious to how they would sound and if they're gonna play some of the old songs...
They didn't sound bad, the new singer Antti Ravin from Mockshot has a good voice, he just need to stop trying to be Matti, his role model - looking and sounding and even singing 'Matti's' songs the way he does/did is not good when you've taken on his 'job'... ;)
We heard three songs then left for Klubi, where we found Matti - jay! Told him we left 'cos we didn't like them playing 'his' songs, he liked that :) Then we left him alone... Or at least we tried too, but where ever we went, there he was... In the end it was almost embarrassing so we decided to leave, but who stood at the bar we had to pass to get out? Yeah, right - Matti... So we chose another way, but ended up out in the enclosed smoking area and when we turned to go inside again Matti came out... >.<
Then we gave in and excused us to Matti, telling him we wasn't stalking him, we were actually trying to avoid him... "I'm stalking you" he said - bless him <333 Then we had a nice long chat with him :)

Finland 2008 - part 2 Tampere

I love Tampere
Didn't do much Sunday except sleeping, made White Russian to welcome the girls when they arrived and just passed time, wandering around, getting familiar with the place again. The girls showed up one after the other until finally late in the evening or night actually Karen, Jacquie and Becky arrived as the last ones and I got to meet Janne-bear, my brother at last *squishes*

Monday we walked the streets, bought some music and we found Teemu-bear *is happy* and had drinks at the place opposite Klubi, sat outside at first, but had to go inside after a while, these foreign girls are not used to the Finnish summer and thought it was 'bloody cold' *lol*

Pictures )

Vikki and Tina came in the afternoon - jay!
Here be them and me )

Later we went to Amadeus, mum was meeting up with Nemi to get their Matti hoodies from the post office. Mum had sent an e-mail to Matti asking for permission to make then, since he didn't have any merch himself yet and he said yes :) We made him one too, of course, will tell more about that later... Mum also made some tops *pets clever designer mum*

Pictures from Amadeus )

And 'someone' wasn't used to proper sized drinks *eyes Karen* so auntie had to take her back to the hotel *pets*
Jacquie wasn't much better off, but she managed to walk home by herself at least *shakes head at amateur drinkers*

Tuesday was kind of a slow day to someone *giggles* Mum, auntie and me went sightseeing, there was this touristy train driving around the streets, so we got on and had a great time, got to see lots of Tampere we hadn't seen yet - did you know there was something more to this city than Hämeenkatu with side streets, train station, Klubi and Amadeus??? O.O
Well, now we know too *rofl*

Pictures from the train... )

And in the evening we went to Klubi, was some fun bands playing and we bought Lonkero from Durden, singer in Nitrokiss.
Yet again someone wasn't used to our alcohol level *eyes Vikki* and had to be 'rescued' and more or less carried home, good thing auntie's a big, strong lady or what do you say, Vikki darling do you still miss his tongue?

Pictures from Klubi )

Oki, I think that'll be enough for now, be back soon with our first meeting with Matti among other things.
So long
